What's the hurry?
For years, I wrote ad copy on deadline. Words in a Hurry is my long-standing LLC from the days I freelanced for companies needing "romance copy" for their croutons, or marketing blurbs for their bedroom sets. My fundamental approach to coaching and editing creative work draws from the days when I had to deep-dive into brand promises and pull the essence from the heap. You have a book to write, and I'm here to help, pledging to be punctual, attentive and committed.

What's the offer?
I've been a fiction and memoir editor and a creative writing teacher for nearly 25 years. In that time, I've worked with artists, short story writers, memoirists, novelists, and children's book authors. I understand the pantser/plotter dilemma, and have a unique approach to helping writers find their way in and through their projects. For more info and clarification on the difference between coaching and editing, pop over to the Services page.

What's the next step?
If you're interested in working with me, you can look over the services I offer, and drop me an email inquiry. I typically book a couple months in advance, and, once we decide on a start date, I take a 50% deposit to hold your spot. You can pay through Venmo, paypal, or check.
